Building a reputation is simple. It takes only two thing: excellence and consistency. Be excellent at your craft, and do it consistently for every client and every project. You’ll quickly become known for your quality of work.

Slow success builds character fast success builds ego. Success isn't given, it's earned by working relentlessly. Character is built from grit and aiming for our full potential. Embrace the difficulties and continue to work even other give up.

Stop oversharing – not everyone is your friend. Being private af about your plans and personal life is top tier self-care.

memory is all about imagination. You can’t remember something if you don’t connect it to something else. All learning is simply association — connecting what you currently know with something you don’t yet know.

Focus on effort, not outcomes.

As Marcus Aurelius said, it’s insane to tie your wellbeing to things outside of your control. If you did your best, if you gave it your all, if you acted with your best judgment—that is a win…regardless of whether it’s a good or bad outcome.

If you can afford, do it! Why not? Life is short. Enjoy. Indulgence, schmulgence. Don't feel guilty, which is what the "too indulgent" suggestion sounds like to me. You deserve this. What else would you do with your time? Work? Or take time off and paint the bedroom? Go to Europe. You'll love yourself for it.

If your work isn't moving you toward the life you want, then your work isn't... working.

Of course — enjoy your craft, collaborate with others, and make great things! But don't fool yourself: What you tolerate is what will continue to happen. Beware mediocrity-building habits.

Go somewhere you’ve never been. Listen to someone you think may have nothing in common with you. Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the person next to you, but have a drink with them anyways. Eat slowly. Check-in on your friends. Check-in on yourself. Enjoy the ride.

If you're a solopreneur, remember:

- Ideas are easy.
- Execution is hard.
- Consistency is harder.

Start and don't stop.

Traveling as much as you can. Hey, some people like fancy cars, designer clothes, whatever....our deal is traveling and great food. Pick your pleasure and indulge in it as often as is financially possible - life is too short!

My dad told me this when I was a single:

“Everyone has a type. And you’ll date plenty of people who are that type. But chances are - you won’t marry your type. Because if you were, you wouldn’t have a type, you’d have a wife.”

Maybe it’s worth taking a shot with someone new.

As long as you don't hurt yourself or others, why would you feel guilty for enjoying yourself?

Creativity is all about connecting things together.

A sign of emotional intelligence is moving from “You made me feel” to “This is how I reacted.”

Our emotions aren’t caused by other people’s actions. They’re shaped by our interpretations.

Blaming others gives them power over our feelings. Taking responsibility empowers us.
